British Blind Sport is the national charity for children and adults with sight loss in the UK. They use the power of sport to change the lives of people with sight loss and support them to lead more active, healthy and independent lives.

British Blind Sport aim to ensure that sport and leisure facilities are accessible to every blind or partially sighted person in the UK, with the intention of improving their physical health and self-esteem. Adults and children are encouraged to participate at whatever level they choose be it grassroots or up to international competitive level.

We were thrilled to welcome the charity to Badminton in September 2023 and offer them complementary hire of our sporting facilities for their 'Have a Go' Weekend:

"We were able to provide an opportunity for blind and partially sighted people of all ages to take part in a variety of different sports to help raise their confidence levels and inspire them to continue to be physically active. The facilities during the event were perfect for many different reasons including accessibility, and exclusivity. I would highly recommend Badminton School as a venue to anyone looking to hold a sporting event in Bristol."
